Their call therein will, “Exalted are You, O Allah,” and their greeting therein will be ‘Salaam’ “Peace.” And the last of their call will be, “All Praise is for Allaah, Lord of the worlds!”

[Soorah Yoonus 10: Verse 10]

Al-Baghawee rahimahullaah (d. 516 H) mentions in explanation of this verse:

Their saying ‘SubhanaakaAllaahumma’ “Glory be to You, O Allaah”: is a word declaring Him free, (i.e. that Allaah is declared free from every imperfection), Exalted is He.

And it has been reported that the people of Paradise will be caused to praise and exalt Allaah just as they are caused to breathe.

The people of Tafseer (explanation of the Quraan) said: This word is a signal used between the people of Paradise and the servants who serve them food.

So if they (the inhabitants of Paradise) desire food they say: “SubhaanakaAllaahumma” ‘Glory be to You O Allaah’.

So they are brought immediately whatever they desire on tables, each table being one mile by one mile in size, every table having seventy thousand platters of food, every platter having differently colored food, none of it resembling the rest of it.

So when they finish eating they praise Allaah, and due to that He said:

And the last of their call will be ‘Praise be to Allaah, Lord  of the worlds.’
