Al-‘Allāmah Muqbil b. Hādi al-Wādi’ī رحمه الله
I advise you to stay
far away from the people of desires and to not seek verdicts from any of them;
and [I advise you] to not attend their lectures.
Verily, their
lectures are poisonous, and if their lectures are free [of this poison], then
they have not come except to propagate their poisons…
I advise you not to
attend the lectures of the likes of these individuals; [and I advise you] to be
diligent and to strive in seeking beneficial knowledge and to call to Allāh within the boundaries of what you are able - and Allāh does not burden a soul with more
than it can bear and Allāh does not burden a soul beyond what he has given it.
Al-Fadā’ih
Wa al-Nasā’ih, p. 129.
