‘Abdullaah b. ‘Umar as-Sarkhasee rahimahullaah said:

 

‘Abdullaah b. ‘Umar as-Sarkhasee rahimahullaah said:

“I only ate a single meal with a person  of innovation and that reached [‘Abdullaah] Ibn al-Mubaarak, so he said: ‘I will not speak to him for thirty days.”’

Repentance & Forgiveness

 

قال شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية  - رحمه الله:

فإذا شهد العبد أن جميع ما يناله من  المكروه  فسببه ذنوبه،  اشتغل بالتوبة والاستغفار من الذنوب.

Sheikhul Islām ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله stated :

“If the servant recognizes that everything which afflicts him from things which are  disliked and detested is a result  of his sins, then he busies himself with repentance and asking for forgiveness from his sins.”

Keep the limits of Allaah

 

Bilāl bn Sa’d  رحمه الله said:

“Do not look  at the  insignificance of the sin. Rather, look at the  [greatness of the] One you disobeyed.”

Cure yourself with Tawheed

 

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

“Whoever is afflicted  with distress, sorrow, illness or hardship and says:

الله ربيِّ لا شريك له

Allāh is my Lord, He has NO partner.

That affliction will be lifted  (removed) from him.”

Strive today in implementing Tawheed, since there is nothing that will deliver you to Allaah except, Tawheed. Also, be eager in fulfilling its rights, since there is nothing that can save you from the fire except Tawheed.

Obeying Allaah can only be achieved by obeying His Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم

 

On the authority of Abee Hurairah (radhiyallaahu ‘anhu) who said that the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said:

All of my Ummah will enter Paradise except for whoever refuses It was said: ‘And who will refuse O Messenger of Allaah?’ he said: Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me; then he has refused.
