Regarding the necessity of moving the tongue and lips while reciting during prayer | Shaykh Ali al-Haddadi

Do you pray without moving your tongue or lips? The [Permanent] Committee [for issuing Fatwás] says in Fatwá no. 15299.

It is obligatory upon the one praying to move his tongue and his lips while reciting, and the recitation [of] the heart [alone] does not suffice.

Shaykh Ali al-Haddādī on the crying of the Heavens and the Earth

@amri3232

Shaykh Ali al-Haddādī, may Allāh protect him from every kind of harm, said:

When a believer dies, the places he took to pray in and perform acts of worship in cry over him, and his gate in the heavens through which his [good] deeds would ascend cries.

As for the disbelievers, the All-High says:

Meaning: Then neither the Heavens nor the Earth cried over them (Al-Dukhān: 29)

Asking Allāh That We Be Pleased with What He Ordains

Asking Allāh That We Be Satisfied with His Decisions

Shaikh ʿAlī al-addādī said:

[Imām] Mālik said in Al-Muwaṭṭaʾ, vol. 2, p. 263:

ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz used to ask [of Allāh]:

O Allāh, make me pleased with and accept that which you have ordained, and make me happy with what you have written [of destiny], to the extent I don’t love having anything put off for later that you have made come sooner, nor having anything come sooner that you have put off for later.

What the Prophet ﷺ Did When He Heard Music

Shaikh ʿAlī al-addādī, may Allāh protect him, said:

From Nāfiʿ [who] said: Ibn ʿUmar heard the sound of a wind instrument.

[Nāfiʿ then] said: Then he  put his two fingers in his ears and moved away from the pathway and [after some time] said to me: O Nāfiʿ, do you hear anything?

[Nāfiʿ] said: Then I said no.

[Nāfiʿ then] said: So he removed his two fingers  from his ears and said: I was with the Prophet [when] he heard  something similar to this and acted in a similar  way.”

Abū Dawūd narrated it, and Al-Albānī rated it “aī [authentic].

What has been said with regard to the verse: "Remember Allāh when you forget." [Al-Kahf 24] | by Shaykh Ali al- Haddadi (حفظه الله)

“Remember Allāh when you forget.” [Al-Kahf 24]

It has been said [with regard to this]:

1. When you forget to say “in shā Allāh” [if Allāh wills] about a future matter, say it when you remember.

2. Remember Allāh [in your heart and on your tongue] when you get angry.

3. When you forget something, remember Allāh [in your heart and on your tongue] to remember it.

From the Comforts of Life We Must Show Thanks for - by Shaykh Ali al-Haddadi (hafidhahullaah)

From the Comforts of Life We Must Show Thanks for

@amri3232

Shaikh ‘Alī al-addādī, may Allāh protect him, said:

Happiness, feeling good [inside] oneself, having a heart that [feels] wide and open are from the comforts [and enjoyments of life].

The Messenger   said: It is not a cause of harm to have wealth for one who acts with fear [of Allāh], [while] health,  for one who acts with fear [of Allāh], is better than wealth. And feeling good [inside] oneself is from the comforts [and enjoyments of life]. Ibn Mājah narrated it, and Al-Albānī rated it saī [authentic].

And we will be asked about how [we] showed thanks for the comforts [and enjoyments of life]. The All-High said:

Again then, [by Allāh,] you will most definitely be questioned on the Day [of Resurrection] about every kind of good thing [you] enjoyed in life. [Al- Takāthur: 8, English meaning]
