Fifth hadeeth

uain Ibn Misan who said my paternal aunt said:

I had a situation so I went to the Messenger of Allāh. So he said: You there; are you married? I responded: Yes. He then enquired: How do you treat your husband? I said: I do not fall short except in what I have no capability to do. He said: Look how you treat him because he is your paradise and your fire.

The Deen is Built Upon Two Principles

THE DEEN IS BUILT UPON TWO PRINCIPLES

Translated By Abbas Abu Yahya

Shaykh Muhammad Amaan al-Jami Rahimahullaah said:

أَصِلُ دِيننَا عَلَى إِخْلَاَصِ الْعِبَادَةِ لله وَتَجْرِيدَ

الْمُتَابَعَةِ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

يَجِبُ أَنْ يَفْهَمَ كُلُّ مُسْلِمُ أَنَّ دِينَهُ مَبْنِيٌّ عَلَى

هاذين الْأَصْلَيْنِ

The origin of our Deen is having Ikhlaas (sincerity) of worship for Allaah and purely following the Messenger of Allaah

It is obligatory upon every Muslim to understand that his Deen is built upon these two principles.’

*Increase in Respect*

The learned scholar Muhammad Amman al-Jami -Rahimahullaah said:

الأدب والأناة والتريث : تزيد الرجل مهابة وثباتاً ؛ والعجلة : قد تجعل الرجل يُستخف في عين الناس.

Good manners, gentleness and calmness, also having great patience increase a man in respect and status and stability. Haste can perhaps belittle a man in peoples eyes.

[Qurrat Ayoon al-Muwahideen 19]

Recognize if your Imaan is Increasing or Decreasing

Recognize if your Imaan is Increasing or Decreasing

By Shaykh Muhammad Amaan Al Jaami

Shaykh Muhammad Amman Al Jaami: Abu Dhar said: Whoever does not know that his Imaan increases and decreases is not a person of understanding. Rather it is from understanding in the religion to notice if your Imaan increasing or decreasing.

If you find yourself devoted to Allah, desiring that which is with Allah, and energetic in acts of worship, loving the righteous people and the gathering of knowledge, this is an indication and a sign of your strong in Imaan.

And if you find yourself turning away and lazy, having no desire to recite the Book of Allah and remember Allah; and you find yourself always lagging behind in some acts of worship and not desiring that which is with Allah, this  is proof of your deficiency in Imaan. Therefore remedy and rectify yourself.
