Imaam Ibn Baz: Differing, Splitting is Evil But Has Wisdoms
Shaykh Ibn Baz: And there is no doubt that this splitting
hurts every Muslim. It is obligatory upon the Muslims to unite upon the truth
and cooperate upon birr and taqwaa. However Allaah, the Sublime, has decreed
such (differing) upon the ummah for mighty wisdoms and praiseworthy objectives
for which He is praised, the Sublime. No one knows their full details save Him.
From them is to distinguish between His pious friends and His enemies and to
distinguish between those who strive and those who turn away, following their
desires and other such wisdoms.
