Abandoning the Guidance of the Prophet lead to Evils.

Al-Imam Ibnul Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“Whoever ponders on the universe  and the evils  that occur in it. He will  know that all the evil in the world is due to opposing the messenger  and leaving off his obedience. And every goodness in the world  is indeed due to obeying the messenger.”

(Ar-Risalatu At-Tabukiyyah, p. 43. Culled  from the lecture of  Shaykh Abdullah Al-Bukhari titled: ‘Reading a book; Guidelines and Warnings Part 1’, Translated by Abū Anwar An-Naijiriy)

Being Persistent When Asking of Allāh

The shaikh, Dr. ʿAbdullāh Al-Bukhārī, may Allāh protect him, said:

Being Persistent When Asking [of Allāh]

Imām Al-Thawrī said: Asking persistently of other than Allāh, Almighty and Majestic, is neither right nor suitable.

And Imām Ibn Al-Qayyim said:

The most beloved of creation to Him are those most frequent and best at asking of Him, and He loves those who persist in asking [of Him]; everytime a slave is persistent upon asking [of Him], He loves him and gives to him.

The Amazing Effect of Saying “Lā awla wa Lā Quwwah illā Billāh”

Imām Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allāh have mercy on him, said:

This statement has an amazing effect on being able to handle difficult tasks and to bear hardships; to go see kings and those who are feared; to ride out terrors; and it also has an amazing effect on warding off poverty.

Al-Wābil Al-ayyib, p. 187, as quoted by Shaikh ʿAbdullāh Al-Bukhārī.twitter.com/dr_albukhary.20 Feb 22. 15:18 GMT+3.

How can one know if his good deeds are accepted? - Sheikh Abdullah Al-Bukhari - حفظه الله

Shaykh Abdullah Al-Bukhari حفظه الله :

The questioner is asking what are the signs by which a person can know if his action is accepted or rejected?

We ask Allah His pardon!

The answer to this (question) has already been mentioned during the lecture, and I said that the signs and the indications to that are that the person follows up the righteous action with more righteous actions, and him falling short does not mean that the actions are rejected. Therefore acceptance and rejection is with Allah جل وعلا and the person does not know  if (his deeds) are accepted or not, but he hopes  from Allah جل وعلا acceptance and he seeks  from Him جل وعلا guidance to righteous actions.

Imaam Ibn Rajab, may Allah have mercy upon him,  as it mentioned in (his book) Jaami’ Al-‘Uloom Al-Hikam said:

Whosoever conducts himself with Allah with Taqwa (piety) in his time of ease, Allah will deal him with gentleness in his time of hardship.

The slave should always ask Allah that He aids, directs and guides him (to righteous actions).

Assheikh Al Allaamah Doctor Abdullah Al Bukhaari-May Allaah preserve him tweeted:

When Allaah loves a servant.

Al Imam ibn Al Qayyim – May Allaah have mercy on him- mentions that:

When Allaah loves a servant:

He picks him [specifically] for Himself and chooses him [specifically] for His love, and He selects him [specifically] for His worship so the servant [as a result of this] occupies his thoughts with Him [Allaah] and he busies his tongue with His remembrance and his limbs with His worship.

“If you want proof of what is in the heart (of anyone), then seek proof from the movement of his tongue..."

من الفوائد الممتعة.....

Ibn Qayyim: If you want proof of what is in the heart (of anyone), then seek proof from the movement of his tongue (his speech) because the tongue will show you what is in his heart whether he likes it or not.
