– Qayyim said:
“Tubā is
for he who only views his Lord as One who is Kind to him, and only views
himself as one who errs or is negligent or falls short. Thus, he views all that
which pleases him to be from the bounty of his Lord upon him and His grace
towards him. And he views all that which displeases him to be due to his sins
and from the justice of Allāh
upon him.”
