Shaikh Rabee’
b. Hādee al Madkhalee:
حفظه الله تعالى
From the
mannerisms of Yahya b. Yahya an-Naysabūri, that he travelled from his land
Naysabūr to [Imam] Malik to take from him [i.e. study with him & take
ahādeeth] al-Muwatta’.
After
completing al-Muwatta’, he was supposed to return to his land but rather he
remained accompanying Imam Mālik for another year in al-Madīnah. So Imam Mālik
said to him, “Why you have
remained [here] and you have already taken that which you sought?”
He
replied, ”I want to learn from you [good] etiquettes.”
