Al-Hasan Al-Basri [rahimahullaah] said:
A slave [i.e. Muslim] does not remember death a lot, except
that it is seen in his deeds. And he does not prolong his hopes [in coveting
the worldly things, greed, etc] except that his deeds become evil.
