Kathīr b. Ziyād al-Basrī was close to death, so it was said to him leave us with advice, he said:
Sell your Dunyá for your Hereafter & by Allāh you will win them both. Do not sell your Hereafter for your Dunyā, for then, by Allāh, you will lose them both.
