noble Scholar, Al-‘Allāmah, Ibn ‘Uthaimīn stated:
“Ahlul-Bid’ah have distinguishing signs, from them is: that they fanatically hold to their opinions such that they do not return back to the truth, even when it is made clear to them." (Sharh Lum’atul- I’tiqād 161)

Al- ‘Allāmah Muhammad b. Sālih
Al-‘Uthaymīn stated: “Ahlul-Bid’ah have distinguishing signs… they are staunch
upon their opposing opinions and they do not return to the truth even when it
is made clear to them. And they hate the Scholars of Islam..” (Sharh
Lum’atil-I’tiqād 161) .
