قال عمر بن عبدالعزيز رحمه الله عن الرعد:
هذا صوت رحمة الله، فكيف لو سمعت صوت عذاب الله؟

‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Azeez, may Allaah have
mercy on him, said about the thunder:
“This is the sound of the Mercy of Allaah,
so how would you be if you heard the sound of the punishment of Allaah?”
