I used to see Shaykh Rabī’ pick up any small thing from the Masjid carpet! So I asked
him:
“Do you do this because of the Ḥadīth, ‘the rewards of my
nation have been presented to me, even a speck that a man removes from a masjid’?”
He said: “Yes.”
