The Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said:
“From the signs of the Hour are
that knowledge will be taken away, ignorance will prevail, alcohol will be
drunk & promiscuity will become widespread.” (Al-Bukhāri,
80)
Ignorance,
innovations in religious matters, and sins are the cause of corruption in the
Earth. The more Muslims indulge in these misdeeds, the weaker they become and
the greater their humiliation. And when these affairs become widespread, the
Hour is close. So beware of being ignorant when you have the ability to learn.
Beware of innovations and callers who oppose the Path of the Companions.
Abandon sins and turn to your Lord in repentance and He will give you success
in this life and the next. “Surely Allah does not change the condition of a
people until they change themselves.” (Ar-Ra’d:11)
