The Prophet ﷺ said
“The thing that I fear most for you is minor Shirk.” They said: “What’s minor Shirk?”
He said: “SHOWING OFF. Allāh will say on the day when people are repaid for their actions: ‘Go to whom you were showing off for in the world & see if you find any reward.’”
