Upon the authority of
Aisha Radhiyallahu Anhā who said:
“When
I saw the good mood and demeanour of the prophet (ﷺ) I said to him: “Oh Messenger of Allah!
Make dua for me! So he said: “Oh Allah! Forgive Aisha’s past and future sins,
that which she has done secretly and that which she has made apparent!”
So Aisha laughed until her head fell into
the lap of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) from laughter. So he said to her “Did
my dua make you happy?” she said: “And why would your duaa not please me!” he
then said: “By Allah! It is the dua I make for my Ummah in every Salah!
