Sin of Supporting the People of Innovation
Questioner:
”Is it permissible to donate money to the people of innovation to build a masjid,
keeping in mind that there are some people of truth who will pray in this masjid.”
Shaykh Sālih al-Luhaydān (حفظه الله): ”Donations should not be given to the people
of innovation to support and aid them upon their innovation. Indeed, whoever aids
them upon their innovation shares in the sin.”1
