Muslim man marrying a Jew or Christian

‘Abdullāh ibn Imām Ahmad (رحمهما الله) said:

I asked my father about a Muslim man marrying a Jewish or Christian woman.

Imām Ahmad (رحمه الله) replied:

I do not like that he does this but if he does then some of the Sahābah did this, too.
