Prophet (ﷺ): “Whoever
performs ghusl perfectly on a Friday, leaves out & arrives early, he walks
& does not ride, he sits close to the imām,
he listens & does not speak or fidget: for every step there is for him a
reward of a year’s fasting & night prayer.”

Fidget
definition: to make continuous, small movements that annoy other people. This
indicates a lack of concentration, that one is not listening to the khutbah or
paying attention to it. Talking during the khutbah is prohibited, and this
includes phonecalls and texting!
