Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-Uthaymeen rahimahullaah was asked in his
Majmoo’ Fataawaa vol. 2, pge 51:
Q: It has been mentioned that for the men are the Hoorul-‘Een (fair
maidens with large, beautiful eyes) in Paradise, so what is there for the women?
A: Allaah – the Exalted and Most High says regarding the bliss of the
people of Paradise:
وَلَكُمْ
فِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِي أَنفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَ نُزُلًا مِّنْ غَفُورٍ
رَّحِيمٍ
“ And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request. As accommodation from a Lord who is Forgiving and Merciful.” [41:31-32]
And He The Most High says:
وَفِيهَا
مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ الْأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ الْأَعْيُنُ ۖ وَأَنتُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
“ And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes,
and you will abide therein eternally.”
[43:71]
And it is known that from the most desirable of things to the souls is
marriage – so it is something that the inhabitants of Paradise will have, the
males from them & the females.
So the woman, Allaah – Exalted and Most High – will cause her to be
married to the husband that she was married to in this world, just as Allaah –
the Exalted and Most High - said:
رَبَّنَا
وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدتَّهُمْ وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ
وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
“Our Lord! And admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which you
have promised them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and
their offspring! Verily, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.” [40:8]
