Can we say So-and-So was killed a martyr? Shaykh al-‘Uthaymīn answers

Shaykh Ibn al-‘Uthaymīn (رحمه الله) said:

‘Your statement “So-and-So was killed and died a martyr,’ is a testimony that you will be questioned about on the Day of Judgment. It will be said to you, ‘Do you have knowledge that he died a martyr?’
