The illustrious
scholar, Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen (رحمه الله) said,
“Righteous deeds
purify the heart from the impurities of sins and because of this, you will find
with believing person enthusiasm (for doing righteous deeds), vitality,
happiness, and joy that which none other than him has, and you will see and
recognize that upon his face. As for the sinful person, his face is dull and he
is in a gloomy and dejected state.”
