The Prophet ﷺ said, "When leaving the house pray 2 units of prayer as it will be a reason to be protected from evil outside and when entering the house pray 2 units of prayer as it will be a reason to be protected from evil inside." (Saheeh al-Jaami' (86) al-Saheehah (1323))
