“And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sâbirûn (the patient). Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: “Truly! To Allâh we belong and truly, to Him we shall return.”(Sûrah 2. Al- Baqarah:155-156)

“Perhaps Allāh may trial a slave with poverty, sickness and other than that from the [many] calamities to test his [level of] gratitude and patience.”
