Mu’aadh Ibn Jabal [radiyallaahu-anhu]
said that Allaah’s Messenger [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] said:
The son of Aadam never performs an act
that [brings] him safety from Allaah’s punishment more than the remembrance of
Allaah [The Exalted].
