The Conditions of the Testimony “Muḥammad rasūl Allāh”

The First Condition: To acknowledge his Message (صَلَّى
اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) and to believe in it within the
heart.
The Second Condition: To proclaim it and affirm it with the
tongue.
The Third Condition: To follow him by acting upon whatever
he came with; what he ordered, prohibited, made permissible and made impermissible.
The Fourth Condition: To believe in everything he informed
us of from the matters of the unseen, both past and future.
The Fifth Condition: The love for him should be greater than
the love for one’s self, children, parents, and all of the people.
The Sixth Condition: To put forth his statement over the
statement of every other person and to act upon his Sunnah.
