Shaikh Rabee’ (may Allah preserve him) stated:
The individual should protect his heart, his intellect, and
his knowledge more than he protects his wealth, his honor, and those whom he is
responsible over. It is binding upon him to focus on protecting his heart
before everything else.
Allah stated:
Oh our Lord, do not misguide our hearts after You have
guided us.(Surah ala ‘Emran: 8)
