Imām
Ibn Taimiyyah, may Allāh have mercy on him, said:
The highest forms of dhikr of Allāh
[remembering Him on the tongue and in the heart] are the prayer, followed by
recitation [of the Qurʾān], followed by unrestricted dhikr.
