Ibn Al-Qayyim: Whoever
is inspired (by Allāh) to supplicate (to
Allāh), then a response has already been intended for him, for Allāh has said:
ادعوني أستجب لكم
Call on me, I will answer you
[40:60]
وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب أجيب
دعوة الداع إذا دعان
And when my servants
ask you about me, then (tell them) I am close, I answer the prayer of the
caller when he calls upon me [2:186]
