Greetings
"Some people—May Allāh grant them rightness—extend the ‘Eid
greetings a day or more before, or on the night of the ‘Eid. However, what has
been narrated from the Righteous Predecessors is that they would extend ‘Eid
greetings on the day of the ‘Eid, and there is no doubt that their practice is
that which is most beloved to all."
