al-Fawzan, may Allah preserve him
The questioner says:
I’ve read in some of
the books of Sharee’ah about the danger of fitan (trials and tribulation) and
what will transpire during the end of time, so what is the position of a Muslim
in the presence of numerous trials and tribulations?
Shaykh Saaleh
al-Fawzaan حفظه الله responded:
Their position (the
Muslim) is to learn, firstly, to learn the sound aqeedah – the safe
path. Secondly, if they are confused by something, to ask the people of knowledge
(for clarification), and clinging to the main body of the Muslims (al-Jamaa’ah)
and their leader. Also, warning against misguided, deviant groups and the people
of desires, and asking Allah for firmness upon the truth and the religion.
