Ibn Al-Mubarak said:
“It used to be that if a man saw something from his brother
that he disliked he would command him in private or forbid him in private.Thus
he would be rewarded for prohibiting him (from evil) and rewarded for
covering him (his flaws).Today if he
sees from him that which he dislikes he hates him and exposes him!
