Three Infallible Foundations
Shaykh
al-Islām ibn Taymiyyah:
The
Religion of the Muslims is built upon following the Book of Allāh, the Sunnah
of His Prophet and that which the Ummah has agreed upon. These three are the
infallible foundations, and that which
the Ummah has disagreement concerning, then return it back to Allāh and the
Messenger.
