Abū ad-Dardā (d. 32H) The Noble Companion of the Prophet ﷺ and one of the great scholars and reciters of the Qurān:

 

Abū ad-Dardā – may Allāh be pleased with him – said:

 

Indeed I seek forgiveness for seventy of my brothers in my sujūd (prostration); naming them by their names  and their father’s names.

 

Siyar A’lām an-Nubalā 9/55

 

قال أبو الدرداء رضي الله عنه:

 إني لأستغفر لسبعين من إخواني في سجودي،

 أسميهم بأسماء آبائهم

  سير أعلام النبلاء ٥٥/٩
