they denied the truth when it came to them so they were in a confused state.”
Surat Qaf: 5.
Al
Qatada said: “Whoever abandons the truth, his affair becomes disorderly and his
religion become obscured to him.”
Al
Hasan said: “A people abandons not the truth, except that their affair becomes disorderly.”
