Imām Al-Ājurrī said over 1000 years ago:
The most important asset of the
believer is his religion; he goes wherever it goes; he neither leaves it behind
nor entrusts it to men. And know, Allāh have mercy on you, that we are in a time
of many trials from many angles if a person does not have knowledge to escape
every fitnah that faces him, he will be destroyed.
