Shaikh Abdur Razzaaq Al-Badr [hafidhahullaah] said:
Ar-Raghbah [i.e. the fervent desire that necessitates
seeking after good] and Ar-Rahbah [the fear that necessitates keeping away from
evil deeds] are two provisions of Tawfeeq [i.e. when blessed with the ability
to act and accomplish good deeds after knowing what is right and wrong],
because when a person fears, it stops him from sin and when he has a fervent
desire, it makes him act.
