Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله
said:
“And sins have an evil and
vile impact, and have a damaging effect on the heart, the body, and (upon a
person) in this life, and in the Hereafter, (the effect & damage) no one
knows its (true extent) except Allaah.”
