CLINGING TO THE SUNNAH

“Ibraaheem at-Taymee used to say:

‘O Allaah protect me with Your Religion, and with the Sunnah of Your Prophet, from differing regarding the truth, and from the following of desires, and from the paths of misguidance, and from affairs producing doubts, and from deviation and argumentation’.”

وكان إبراهيم التيمي يقول : اللَّهُمَّ اعْصِمْنِي بِدِينِكَ، وَبِسُّنَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ مِنَ الاِخْتِلَافِ فِي الْحَقِّ ، وَمِنِ اتِّبَاعِ الْهَوَى ، وَمِنْ سُبُلِ الضَّلَالَةِ ، ومن شُبُهَاتِ الْأُمُورِ ، وَمِنَ الزَّيْغِ وَالْخُصُومَاتِ

“Allahumma I’simnee bi Deenika, wa bi Sunnati Nabiyyika min al-Ikhtilaafi fil-Haqq, wa min Ittibaa’il-Hawaa, wa  min subulid-Dalaalah, wa min Shubuhaatil-Umoor, wa min az-Zayghi wal-Khusumaat.”
