Mu’aadh
b. Jabal (d. 18H) radiallaahu ‘anhu said:
Upon
you is knowledge. For indeed seeking it is worship. Learning it for Allaah’s
sake is a good deed. Striving upon it is a means of drawing nearness [to
Allaah] for its people. Teaching it to one who does not know it is charity.
Researching it is Jihaad. And reviewing it is Tasbeeh.
