Sufyaan ath-Thawree رَحِمَهُ اللهُ said:

“He who plays about with his life (neglects worshipping Allaah) has wasted his days of cultivation (sowing righteous deeds), and he who wastes his days of cultivation will regret it on the day of his harvest (on the Day of Judgment).”
