A man said to
the Tabi’ī Maymūn ibn Mihrān:
“The people
will not cease to be in a good state as
long as you’re amongst them.”
So Maymūn
said:
“The people
will not cease to be in a good state as long as they FEAR Allah!”

لا يزال الناس بخير ما كنتَ فيهم
فقال ميمون :
لا يزال الناس بخير ما اتقوا الله
