Shaikh Sālih Al-Fawzān:
The losers
this Ramadān (1)
Acquiant Yourselves with the
worth of this month…
Shaikh Sālih Al-Fawzān (حفظه الله) said:
“The one who enters this month and he
wastes himself with sins and evil acts, and he does not repent to Allāh. He does not pay attention to this month nor that which it contains
of goodness and blessings. So he passes it by like he passes the other months. He
is denied its blessings and he leaves it just as he entered it, not benefitting
from it all:
They are the ones upon whose
hearts, hearing and sight Allāh has set a seal. And they are the heedless (An-Nahl:108)
Like those who forgot Allāh, so He made them forget themselves – and they are the transgressing
sinners. (Al-Hasr:19)
So his head is not uplifted by this month,
and he does not know its worth and value. This is the true deprivation! We ask Allāh for well being.”
