Sahl bin ‘Abdullaah al-Tustaree (d.283h) رحمه الله said:
“Our fundamentals are six: Clinging and adhering to the Qur’ān, following the Sunnah, eating from lawful earnings, not harming others and staying away from sins, repentance and fulfilling the rights of others.”
