From Amr bin al-Hamq al-Khaza’ee from the Prophet –sallAllaahu
alayhi wa sallam-
‘If Allaah wants goodness for His slave, then He (As’sala-hu)
sweetens him like honey.’
It was asked: ‘What is As’sala-hu?’
The Messenger –sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- answered:
‘Allaah gives him the ability to do good actions when death
comes to him, so much so that those around him are pleased with him.’

Saheehah no. 1114]
The scholars say that (As’sala-hu) makes him sweet like honey,
means that he receives good praise from
those around him.
And Allaah knows best.
