Sa’ad bin ‘Ubaadah
(may Allaah be pleased with him) narrates that he said:
“O Messenger of
Allaah,verily the mother of Sa’ad (my mother) has passed away,so which type of
charity is the best (on behalf)?”
He ﷺ said:
“Water.”
Sa’ad narrates:”So we dug a well and said,”This is for the
mother of Sa’ad.”
