Ibn Mas’ūd (رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنهُ) said:
“Be pleased with what Allah has allotted for you and you will be the wealthiest of men. Fulfill what Allah has obligated upon you and you will be the most devout of men. Refrain from what Allah has made unlawful upon you and you will be the most pious of men.”
