Ibrāhīm At-Taymī (d. 92H) said,
“When a believer intends to speak, he first
considers. So, if speaking is good for him, he speaks – and if it is bad for
him, he refrains from it. As for the wicked evildoer, his tongue is loose and
unfettered.”
