The Devil’s Plot
The devil tries to lure the slave into his many traps.
Anytime one trap fails, he springs
another trap. They are making the slave:
[1] Commit shirk, which is his ultimate objective
[2] Commit innovations
[3] Commit major sins
[4] Commit minor sins
[5] Continuously do unrewarding yet permissible acts,
[like eating, drinking, sleeping, etc.]
[6] Do deeds that are less rewarding to prevent the
slave from doing deeds that are more rewarding
If, however, the slave manages to evade entrapment, the
devil then dispatches the people of innovation, falsehood and sins form his
army to harm the slave and to prevent the people from benefiting from his
knowledge and his da’wah.
